Here's some important information to help you through the Festive Season.

Emergencies & Maintenance

If you have an urgent matter and need to speak to your property manager during the office closure, please contact  9755 8234. The office line will be diverted to a member of the team throughout the closure. Emails will be checked intermittently during this time, however all urgent matters should be reported via phone to make sure they're dealt with as quickly as possible.

Should an emergency event occur please follow these steps:

  1. Notify us immediately on 9755 8234.
  2. If the Property Manager or any other Hanson Property staff member are unavailable, contact the nominated repairer from the list below.

An emergency repair is considered as:

  • Burst water service;
  • Gas leak;
  • Broken hot water system;
  • Sewerage leaks; or
  • Dangerous electrical faults.

Please note - If you call out a contractor for maintenance that is not an emergency, or the emergency is due to a fault of your own (e.g. faulty appliance tripping power to the home), you will be liable for the cost of any call out and repairs.

For any non-urgent maintenance that may be required, please submit a maintenance request via our website and we will respond to you at our earliest convenience.

Rent Payments

It's you responsibility to make sure rent is paid on time - meaning on or before your due date. Please note, funds can take at least 2-5 days to clear into our account with public holidays occur during the Christmas/New Year period.

We always recommend rent is paid a few days prior to your due date during the Christmas period. If you're not sure of your paid to date, feel free to give the office a call between now and 12noon tomorrow. Otherwise you can also find this information in your tenant portal.

Property Tree will automatically send out automatic rental arrears emails if your rent hasn’t cleared into our account within the required time. Please disregard this email if you have recently made a payment into our account for rent. Rents are receipted on the business day after they clear into the account and this may be delayed due to the public holidays.
